I've known about flame retardants in children's pajamas for a long time. However, a recent storm of articles has emerged discussing the presence of flame retardants in furniture. It got me thinking: how much of my house is filled with those chemicals?

A New Study Finds That Thyme Is More Effective Against Acne Than Benzoyl Peroxide


Nature wins again. Breaking research conducted by Dr. Escalada from Leeds Metropolitan University found that a solution made from thyme is more effective at treating the acne bacterium than benzoyl peroxide.

Burt's Bees was bought by Clorox in 2008. That's right, the brand known for making bleach. I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't give me much confidence in the company continuing to create clean products. But this deodorant seems to be keeping my hopes alive.
